Naya Weber is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) serving families in Austin, TX. Naya received her lactation education through the University of California at San Diego's Hybrid Pathway 2 Lactation Consultant Program. Naya also holds a Certificated Lactation Educator and Counselor (CLEC) from UC San Diego, and has received additional training in perinatal mood disorders. She has been featured in NBC Asian America, LoveChild Magazine Austin, and has spoken on breastfeeding at MommyCon Austin 2016 and Texas Birth Networks' conventions in 2017 and 2018
Naya is the mother to two breastfed boys and a self described "boob nerd." Her personal experience includes breastfeeding the late preterm infant, returning to work, and tongue and lip ties. She has previously facilitated a weekly mom-to-mom breastfeeding support group and worked at a non-profit human milk bank. Naya and her family live in southwest Austin. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, naps, and writes the blog Lactivist in Louboutins. She is on the board for the Central Texas Breastfeeding Coalition and the Texas Breastfeeding Coalition, and a volunteer leader for Partners in Parenting.
